Slow Cooker Sunday: Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

Well, we made it to the second edition of Slow Cooker Sunday! Today my dear friend, Emily, from The Winking of an Eye is joining in on Slow Cooker Sunday! Make sure you stop by and see what she has cooking in the cooker today! Today's recipe was given to me by my college friend, Jen.

Here it is...

Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

2 cans condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (low fat works well)
2 c. Shredded Chicken**
1 package frozen mixed vegetables
1 tsp. Black Pepper
1 tsp. Garlic Salt
3 c. Wide Egg Noodles

**Canned works well. I also put in 2 frozen chicken breasts and then just broke them up with a fork after a few hours of cooking.

Combine soup with 5 cups water in the slow cooker. Mix well, so there are no chunks. Add chicken, frozen vegetables, pepper, and garlic salt. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Once the time is done add the egg noodles and cook on high for an additional 20-30 minutes. Serves 4-6 people.

Family friendly meal...

Enjoy!
